This removes dirt from the suede fibers before they set, helping to keep your suede shoes and boots looking great longer.” Properly storing suede shoes is also essential to extending their lifespan. “Before storing suede shoes (or any shoes), make sure they are completely air-dried, especially if they have been exposed to snow or rain,” says Pierson. “We recommend storing your shoes upright on a shelf or in a hard case to protect the structure of the shoe. You can also use shoe trees or shoe straighteners to help them return to their original shape or maintain their original shape.”
